Children and families are being invited to take part in a variety of fun craft sessions at Bath & North East Somerset Council's museums this December.
Visitors to the Victoria Art Gallery can get into the festive spirit at the Young @ Art Club on Saturday December 1, where they will be able to make Christmas bunting using motifs such as trees, stars and baubles, and cards using printing and collage. Another Young @ Art session called 'Jump into 2013' will run on Saturday December 29.
The Young @ Art sessions cost £4.00 per child and run from 10.30am to midday. Children aged 3-11 are welcome with an adult and places must be booked in advance on 01225 477233.
A Festive Fashion drop-in event will take place at the Fashion Museum on Sunday December 4, from 11am – 3pm. Here children will be able to have a go at creating festive party hats using tissue, crepe paper and sequins. Free to Discovery Card holders.
On Saturday December 8, The Roman Baths hosts "A Corinthian Christmas", from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm. Those will be a chance to make 3D Christmas decorations using the acanthus leaf design from a Corinthian column.
Normal admission charges apply, but the activity is free once on site. Bath & North East Somerset Council residents are entitled to free admission with a Discovery Card.
For all these events, children must be accompanied by an adult.
