Ellie Symonds was crowned the best of British as she rode Harvey to first place in the UK Under-21 Preliminary Dressage Championships at Bury Farm, Buckinghamshire.
The 19-year-old from Bradford on Avon has only been competing in dressage for the past six months and hopes to make a successful move up to the elementary class soon.
The former Royal High School pupil currently works as an accountant in Limpley Stoke and competes on Harvey, her six-year-old horse who is stabled at Ley Farm in Westwood.
