Children can spring into action with a range of fun Easter holiday activities organised by Bath & North East Somerset Council-run museums. The Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery are all putting on a number of events between Monday 25 March and Thursday 4 April, 2013.

The Roman Baths is holding the family drop-in sessions "Lighting up Spring" where people can make a Roman lamp out of clay on Monday 25 March: 10am-1pm & 2pm-4pm.

At the Fashion Museum children can make hats which are full of the joys of spring with the "Senationally Spring-like" sessions which run on Tuesday 26 March: 10.30am-12.30pm & 1.30pm-3.30pm.

Admission to Bath & North East Somerset Council's family drop-in events at the Roman Baths and Fashion Museum is free to local residents on production of a Discovery Card. Normal entry prices apply to everyone else.

At the Victoria Art Gallery "Spring Surprise" is an active art session for ages 3-11 and runs on Thursday 28 March: 10.30am-12noon & 1.30-3pm. Children can enjoy the wonders of early spring at the Gallery.

Also at the Gallery is "A Spring Landscape" for ages 3-11 on Thursday 4 April: 10.30am-12noon & 1.30pm-3pm. Youngsters can spot the seasonal changes in the Gallery's displays and be inspired to create landscapes full of spring colours.

All the Easter events at the Victoria Art Gallery cost £4 per child and must be booked in advance on 01225 477233. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Residents of Bath and North East Somerset can apply for a Discovery Card by taking along two forms of ID to the following Council buildings: the Roman Baths; Riverside in Keynsham; The Hollies in Midsomer Norton and the One Stop Shop on Manvers Street in Bath.
