Bath Rugby Ladies shut out visiting Trojans in an impressive 20-0 triumph.
Trojans started well and demonstrated some strong attacking play but Emily Sherwood's interception try gave Bath an early lead. Fly-half Sarah Holloway added the conversion.
A surge of confidence followed and Bath pressured Trojans. Bath's onslaught was met by some strong defensive work as they camped on Trojans' line.
Bath's pack gained an edge and allowed the backs to show their speed as they hammered at the line.
The hosts coupled a strong kicking game with excellent pressure from the wings, while Bath's newest recruit, Amber Daum, defended superbly throughout.
After half-time, sustained Bath possession in the visitors' half allowed Holloway to slot a drop goal. Further attacking pressure led to a penalty from the same player, which increased the lead to 13 points.
A tap penalty close to the visitors' tryline was followed by a delightful pass from prop Vicky Heslop, sending Rachel Bennett steaming over for the score. Holloway added the extras.
Bath are away to their Saracens counterparts on Sunday.
