Campaigners for change have met in Bath this weekend to share ideas.
The second Visions for Change event, organised by Bath People's Assembly, was held in the city centre and included 25 pressure groups.
All of the groups including Frack Free Somerset, Bath Friends of Palestine, Occupy Bath, Bath Anti-Cuts Campaign, Bath Against the Badger Cull and Foodcycle, had stalls explaining their campaigns and how people could get involved.
Throughout today there were also talks by the different groups including one from film director Ken Loach.
Organiser Lin Patterson, from Bath People's Assembly and former member of Occupy Bath, said:
"We did this last year and it was a success then and because of the demand from groups that came they really wanted us to do it again. Our ambition was to do it bigger and better and we have.
"It's about trying to do two things, one is to provide a showcase for all the groups in Bath that are working for progressive change, and the other is to let the public see what is going on and get involved or just get information.
"It is also good for networking between the groups."
Fellow organiser Mike Williams, also from Bath People's Assembly, added: "Each group here has their own vision and we wanted all these people in the same room together to present their ideas and then see if there was any common ground. These groups are about a greater good - for people and for the environment. It's about prioritising people and planet before profit."
Vipul Patel, who runs the environmental networking group Bath Green Drinks, said Visions for Change was a great opportunity for people with a passion about different issues to meet.
He said: "An event like this gets various people from different groups to talk - a cross pollination so to speak.
"An event like this will get people talking with each other and working together rather than in isolation, so we can get things done."
Megan Lebasci, from Bath Against the Badger Cull, said Visions for Change provided a sympathetic environment for campaign groups.
She said: "It's a platform to share ideas with other people, similar like-minded people, who might be more open minded to the issues we are promoting today.
"There are lots of other issues going on at the moment, animals are not at the top of people's priority lists."
