Judd Trump staged a remarkable fightback against Shaun Murphy on Tuesday night to leave their Crucible quarter-final balanced on a knife edge.
Murphy, the world champion back in 2005, looked to be cruising through to his fourth semi-final in Sheffield as he opened up an 8-3 lead against the left hander.
But almost from nowhere the world number three began a stirring comeback, firing in breaks of 93 and 118 as he reeled off five frames in a row level things up at 8-8.
The first to 13 will progress through to the semi-finals and a potential match-up with defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan.
But for long stretches it looked like Murphy was going to cruise through against the 2011 runner-up here in Sheffield as he knocked in breaks of 82, 76 and 68 in establishing a five-frame lead.
But former Keynsham Snooker Centre star Trump is made of stern stuff these days and his comeback means the two will resume on Wednesday with the momentum all in the 23-year-old's favour.
