The Fifty Shades of Grey effect has helped Bath sex toy firm Lovehoney to double the number of its staff.
The online retailer and sex toy manufacturer is currently advertising new job roles for 12 staff at its headquarters at Locksbrook Road.
When the recruitment process is complete, total staff numbers in Bath will top 100. Two years ago, Lovehoney employed 50 people, rising to a total of 69 last year.
Co-founder Richard Longhurst said: "We need more staff in all areas of the business to maintain our strong growth online and in business-to-business sales.
"In 2012 we secured the global licence to manufacture and distribute Fifty Shades of Grey products which gives us massive opportunities around the globe."
The firm, which develops its websites in-house, is seeking computer programmers to join its development team.
"Tablet computers and smartphones have changed the way that people use the internet so we are expanding our team to develop websites and applications targeting users of these platforms."
The company has a range of more than 300 sex toys and even bondage items in its own label ranges, including the official Fifty Shades of Grey Pleasure Collection and the Swoon range, which is currently available in Boots.
Order numbers are increasing and it is expanding internationally so its recruiting multilingual customer care staff, particularly those fluent in French, German and Russian.
