Mike Fear completed the course in par to inflict a first defeat of the season on Colin Gamlin in Bath Approach Golf Club seniors' Division 1.
Two birdies helped Fear sweep to the turn in par for a four-hole lead. He carded two more to clinch victory with five holes to spare and went on to post the season's best round to date.
Bernard Roots gained his first Division 1 victory at the expense of another newly-promoted player in Roger Randall, who has now lost his opening three matches. Randall was two up after five holes and later staged a rally to draw level on the 17th but Roots won the last to clinch the spoils.
Colin Lee's grandstand finish earned him a point in against Brian Wickham, who surrendered the three-hole advantage he held at the turn.
Dennis Crombie claimed a comfortable win over Mike Hazel to move into second place in Division 2. Crombie closed out the match with two holes to spare after reaching the turn three up.
Dave Ferebee overcame stiff opposition from Brian Lambern to achieve a narrow win that puts him just one point behind the leaders. The lead changed hands coming back and Ferebee's win on the last proved decisive.
Ingrid Doherty leads the way after beating Alasdair Campbell, who had the better of the opening exchanges before going down on the 15th.
Brian Woodford achieved his best round since last summer to overcome Tiger Lewis and retain his unbeaten league record. Woodford was four up at the turn and won with four holes to spare.
A late flourish earned Brian Allen victory over Tony Damon in his first competitive match. Allen had a two-hole lead wiped out before winning the final three for the points.
Malcolm French remains unbeaten in Group A of the 2013 League Cup after easing past an off-colour Terry Selway. French was six up at the turn and won three of the first four holes coming back to make sure of victory.
Reg Morris scrambled to a narrow victory over Craig Jones to top Group C. A close match was all-square after nine holes before Norris secured the win on the 17th.
Ann Fear gained a last-gasp win over Division 1 opponent Sue Norris to retain her chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals. Norris' birdie on the 17th levelled the contest before Fear grabbed victory on the final hole.
Lionel Smith's excellent front-nine play earned him victory over John Grubb in his first match with the club. Smith led by four after reaching the turn in two over par and then held on as Grubb won two of the last three holes.

Division 2: A Campbell 81 (65) lost to I Doherty 73 (55) 3-9, D Crombie 68 (60) beat M Hazel 78 (61) 8-5, B Woodford 63 (51) beat D Lewis 69 (57) 9-2, D Ferebee 60 (55) beat B Lambern 76 (57) 8-6, A Damon 78 (52) lost to B Allen 76 (49) 5-9, J Grubb 66 (53) lost to L Smith 65 (52) 5-6.
2013 League Cup: R Morris 64 (54) beat C Jones 81 (54) 5-3, T Selway 86 (73) lost to M French 64 (55) 0-10, S Norris 69 (56) lost to A Fear 81 (57) 7-8.
