A number of items were stolen from a top floor flat in Nelson Place.
Thieves burgled the property on Thursday between 1pm and 1.45pm.
The front door was forced open with an umbrella, and a number of valuable and sentimental items stolen, including:
HP Laptop
Silver Sony Vaio
iPad 3 with pink leather case
Various iPhone and iPad cables
Jewellery - Antique Gold Watch pendent, diamond pendent necklace, starcubic zirconia silver necklace, diamond heart bracelet, heart amethyst locket, various earrings and bangles
Grey diesel bag
Various items of makeup
Green Leather purse which had various photos and cards
Attempts have been made to withdraw cash at Axbridge Tescos Express and Bedminister Asda.
The laptop contained University work, as well as photos and other important documents.
The jewellery had a sentimental value, left to the victim by her grandmother.
