Samantha Murray has continued an impressive 2013, which saw her make her Wimbledon debut, by breaking into the world's top 200 for the first time in her career.
The Team Bath MCTA ace is ranked 189th on the new list after reaching the second round of the Odlum Brown VanOpen in Vancouver, Canada.
Murray beat fellow Brit Naomi Broady 6-1 6-4 in the first round and then saved three match points during an enthralling battle against Kimiko Date-Krumm before going down 3-6 7-5 6-7(4) to the redoubtable 42-year-old.
Closer to home, there was a win for the Team Bath duo Anna Smith and Melanie South in the ladies doubles at the Aegon GB Pro-Series in Nottingham.
They beat Daneika Borthwick and Anna Fitzpatrick 6-4 6-2 in Saturday's final.
