Music lovers in Box rocked out to raise money for the Forever Friends Appeal.
Bands from across the South West once again entertained crowds for the 20th Box Rocks concert at the Queen's Head pub. The annual event is organised to raise funds for the Forever Friends Appeal, with proceeds going towards improving cancer services at the Royal United Hospital.
More than 1,000 people helped to raise £3,249, with eight music acts.
Appeal community fundraiser Zoe Tainton said: "Theis is such an amazing event, t whole community comes together to listen to some great bands, enjoy the atmosphere and views over Box, with good friends, food and drinks. So much hard work, time and effort goes into the event and we appreciate everyone's commitment."
Pub landlord Dean Creighton began fundraising for the appeal seven years ago when it was collecting cash for a new neonatal intensive care unit at the RUH, after his nephew Thomas spent eight weeks in the old one.
