Josh Low: "Bath City paid price for sitting on the lead"

Josh Low says Bath City must show more of a killer instinct when they travel to Staines Town in Skrill South tonight (7.45pm). The winger made his first start of the season in Saturday's frustrating 2-2 home draw against Tonbridge Angels, which saw City dominate the game but be denied victory by an injury-time equaliser. "We probably took our foot off the pedal after going 2-1 up," said Low. "We were comfortable, that was the problem, but we needed the third goal to really kill them off. "We discussed that afterwards, how we sat on the lead, and we can't allow that to happen again." Low limped away from Mayday Trust Park on Saturday with a bruised foot but is hoping to be fit for tonight. "I went to hit a cross-field pass in the first half and one of their lads nipped in to take the ball off me, so I ended up kicking the bottom of his boot," he explained. "It's stiffened up a bit but it looks like it's just bruising. It was sore at half-time but once I was running about it was alright. "Tuesday night games are always tough, especially when you're working, and Staines was a tough place to go last year but we're confident we can go there and get a win. "We've made a decent start to the season. We haven't set the world alight but we're moving along and having only had one defeat. "Hopefully we can keep the unbeaten run going at Staines."
