Traffic and travel updates in and around Bath today

11.oo pm UPDATE: A39 in Farrington Gurney closed and hazardous driving conditions westbound between Rush Hill Junction and the B3139 New Street junction, because of ice and snow. Lansdown Road both ways blocked due to accident, ice and snow between Lansdown Grove and Julian Road / Guinea Lane. 9.22pm UPDATE: @fergieweather: W COUNTRY No significant change to earlier forecasts: snow easing for most by midnight but continuing into early AM W Som & FoD especially. 9.17pm UPDATE: Two lanes closed and hazardous driving conditions on M4 Second Severn Crossing eastbound because of snow. 9.16pm UPDATE: A350 Warminster Road in Westbury blocked, queueing traffic and hazardous driving conditions in both directions between the Laverton Road junction and Services roundabout, because of an accident, ice and snow. 9.05pm UPDATE: Bath councillor Sarah Bevan tweeted: Just got in from work. Bath service 184 (Bath - Frome) unable to serve Redan, going direct to Riverside then returning to normal route. Bath service 267 (Bath - Frome) unable to serve Critchill, operating direct to Frome Market Place. Bath service 4 (Bath Riverside - Bathampton) Unable to serve Holcombe Vale, going via Down Lane.
