Commuters in and around Bath faced another challenging journey this morning after facing blocked roads, abandoned buses and cars and jacknifed lorries.
Many were forced to leave their vehicles at the side of the road and walk home.
Conditions have improved this morning but there are still problems with traffic and travel.

11.30am UPDATE: A fallen tree has partially blocked Charlcombe Lane in Charlcombe.
9.40am UPDATE: Emergency repairs have closed two lanes of the M4 Second Severn Crossing westbound.
9.10am UPDATE: Bus hasn't crashed but there are around 30 abandoned vehicles on Bathwick Hill, including two in the middle of the road. Police are trying to contact the owners.
8.50am UPDATE: @anarchique tweeted: "Bus involved in crash by yha on bathwick hill police on scene, traffic at standstill, avoid!"
8.35am UPDATE: A broken down cars has partially blocked Lansdown Road in Bath between Lansdown Grove Julian Road.

No 4 City Centre – Bathampton bus service unable to serve Holcombe Vale, using Down Lane.
No 10 Circular service unable to serve Sladebrook Road or Southdown Road, using Whiteway Road, The Hollow and Mount Road.
14/14A Weston – Odd Down (via RUH and city centre), unable to serve Bloomfield Drive, using Wells Road.
31 Lansdown Park and Ride service is currently being assessed.
30 Feltham Drive (Frome town service), first scheduled service at 9am.

7.15am UPDATE: 6.52am First Great Western Service to London Paddington delayed by 25 minutes.
7.03am UPDATE: First Bus reported most Bath services are running normally this morning with a few diversions in place.
178 Bath – Bristol route is being assessed.
179 Bath – Midsomer Norton is unable to serve Ham Lane, using Paulton High Street.
7.00am UPDATE: All flights at Bristol International Airport suspended until 8am. Passengers urged to check before travelling to the airport.
6.30am UPDATE: There are hazardous driving conditions on Lansdown Road in both directions in Bath between Lansdown Grove Julian Road because of ice and snow.
