What's your favourite part of Bath?
There are many great places in Bath and I like to spend time around the Roman Baths during the summer. This area is always vibrant and shows Bath linking into the independent area of Abbey Green with its relaxed environment, great restaurants and shops.
Where's the best place to eat?
The best place I have tried is Aio in George Street which serves fantastic Sardinian cuisine.
What's the best view in the city?
As a BID ranger my role is to respond to BID levy- payers' concerns, which are generally focused around cleanliness and the appearance of the city. When visiting the area around the Royal Crescent, I always stop and admire the views from our electric vehicle – they are breathtaking.
What would your perfect day in Bath entail?
My perfect day would start at Roscoff Deli in Northumberland Place, then a jaunt to the shops before going to the Thermae Bath Spa for some relaxation and quiet time. Into the afternoon I'd go over to Bath Abbey, which is a must-see with its fantastic architecture. Then it would be off to watch the rugby followed by some celebration pints at The Salamander.
Where would you meet friends for a drink?
Generally, I would meet my friends in The Raven, which offers traditional local real ales and Pieminister pies.
What's your favourite shop?
As an accomplished guitar player who performs at events, I can often be found in my lunch hour testing guitars at Vintage and Rare Guitars in Queen Street.
What one thing about Bath would you change?
The Bath Business Improvement District is all about being a catalyst for change, providing practical support in driving economic benefit to our city centre. This is achieved through deep cleans, managing the evening economy, promoting Bath, making new events happen and saving businesses money. We'd like to see the city have a more joined-up approach to commercial waste collection that will save businesses money, reduce the number of heavy vehicles on Bath's streets and create less of the mess that I have to react to on a daily basis and which also provides food to that much-hated menace – the gulls!
